Explore Historic Sites, Nature, and More on Horseback
Discover the history, nature, and beauty of Tolowa Dunes State Park on a horseback adventure. You will visit the Yontocket Memorial Site, where you can learn about the native culture and history of the area. You will also see different types of trees, sand dunes, and Kellogg Beach. You will enjoy the views of the wildlife, open meadows, and marshes that make this park unique.
Your ride will be led by an experienced guide who will keep you safe and comfortable. The ride is mostly at a walking pace, so you can relax and take in the scenery. You need to be able to get on and off the horse with little help from the staff. We have a two-step mounting block to make it easier for you.
